Commissioning frameworks updated
The commissioning frameworks for the English antenatal and newborn screening programmes have been updated to reflect new standards and recently issued programme specific guidance.

Newborn Blood Spot Card Review 2011 - Consultation
As the newborn blood spot card has been in use for nearly two years, the UK Newborn Screening Programme Centre is reviewing the current content and layout. They welcome comments from all the newborn screening laboratories and sample takers before 5pm on 14 November 2011. Consultation on antenatal screening for rubella susceptibility
The UK NSC has started a consultation on screening for rubella susceptibility in pregnancy.
The consultation runs until 6 January 2012 and comments are welcomed from all interested parties.
