Commissioning frameworks updated

The commissioning frameworks for the English antenatal and newborn screening programmes have been updated to reflect new standards and recently issued programme specific guidance.

Newborn Blood Spot Card Review 2011 - Consultation

As the newborn blood spot card has been in use for nearly two years, the UK Newborn Screening Programme Centre is reviewing the current content and layout. They welcome comments from all the newborn screening laboratories and sample takers before 5pm on 14 November 2011. Consultation on screening for autism

The UK NSC has begun a consultation on screening for Autism Spectrum Disorders in Children below the age of 5 years.

It runs until 16 January 2012 and submissions are invited from all interested parties.
