Final translations now available
The English antenatal and newborn screening booklet is now available in Portuguese and Spanish as well as the 16 previous languages.

New booklet translations for parents
The English antenatal and newborn screening booklet is now available in French and Hindi as well as the 14 previous languages (Arabic, Bengali, Greek, Gujarati, Kurdish, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese).

NHS Evidence launches
The new NHS Evidence service launched on 1 May, fulfilling one of the recommendations in Lord Darzi's 'High Quality Care for All' report. It replaces the NHS National Library for Health and provides authoritative evidence and best practice for health professionals.
The screening specialist collection (formally specialist library) is still in place and can currently be accessed from its usual address of http://www.library.nhs.uk/screening/ (or click on the link at the bottom of every page).
