Dr David Elliman

David is a community paediatrician whose special interest is in health promotion, including immunisation and screening. After spending many years as a consultant at St George's Hospital in South London, he moved to Great Ormond Street in 2003. He also holds appointments with two local PCTs.

As well as playing a part in newborn bloodspot screening and NIPE, he is also employed by the UK NSC to keep an eye on childhood conditions for which screening is recommended, but that do not have a programme centre or for conditions where the possibility of screening has been raised.
