The UK NSC held a conference for English Trust Screening Co-ordinators and PCT & SHA Screening Leads, on 30 November 2009 in London.

A Joined Up Approach to Antenatal and Newborn Screening

A National Conference for Local Screening Co-ordinators (LCOs) and SHA & PCT Screening Leads

This conference will:

  • Support and strengthen effective links between Acute Trusts and Public Health
  • Showcase the innovative work of LCOs and provide a forum to share best practice
  • Support and sustain the work of LCOs
  • Provide networking opportunities for LCOs, SHA and PCT screening leads
  • Day includes refreshments, lunch and certificate of attendance
  • Speakers will be confirmed nearer the time but will be nationally respected leaders in screening, public health and maternity services
  • The conference is being run and paid for by the UK National Screening committee and is free to invited attendees
  • Please register via your regional team
